Swiss Game Awards
Show the communication material, can we share it on our socials ? Discord, LinkedIn, Bluesky, Twitter, Insta, newsletter, what do we have ? Also a few people were asking me to have access to the Discord now that they were members and I don't have admin rights to do that.
We should share it first then they can repost it. I should make a draft
Ask for communication material (graphics, logos, text about what each prize is about)

Ask for a budget for the jury and for the video
David Stark suggestions
Also David Stark suggested to make a whole game dev weekend at the Hub for next year, with a kind of Swiss GDC coupled with the awards. Thoughts ?
Find funding to organize and pay for tickets to go from Romandie to the Zurich meetings and from Swiss Germanie to Lausanne meetings
Romandie funding
Cineforom basically removed videogames and all numeric arts from what was supported by their funds.
Tomorrow the decision by a commission of french-speaking cantons will be taken to re-allocate (or not) funds through other organisms to the numeric arts, which implies video games.
Depending on the decision, we will write a strongly worded letter or a thank you letter to the commission and they want the SGDA to be part of it, which I think is a good idea. It's also an occasion to put videogame developers on the map of public funding, because most of the funding we got that isn't from ProHelvetia makes weird statements about what games should or should not be to be able to get support and it's mostly driven by an ignorance of what makes video games... video games.
I have gathered a whole bunch of the most well established french speaking gamedev studios to get their revendications and trying to setup a more videogame inclusive funding plan was one of them. There are more revendications for the future of gamedev in Romandie and most of them need to have kind of an official organism to "hide behind" when asking to be recognized, an official adress to go to when there are questions about video games and everyone agress that the SGDA is a good contender for that role. I'm therefore asking officially for permission to engage the association in thoses processes and to what conditions if any.
